Expert’s Brief – Despite its size, the Rembrandt still manages to be is a quiet refuge in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district and is a classic downtown Bangkok hotel, complete with an impressive marble lobby. Guest rooms have a vintage feel, with furnishings reminiscent of the 80s or 90s, but many are spacious. The Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok certainly has plenty of appeal for business and leisure travellers alike, thanks to its prime location in the city, great facilities and high quality dining options.

The hotel hosts the signature, highly awarded Northern Indian restaurant, the Rang Mahal on the rooftop. For authentic and tasty Mexican dishes head to Señor Pico serving regional specialties, highlighted by spicy flavors and a selection of over 60 different tequila. “Great Hotel at Perfect Sukhumvit Location”

We were not disappointed with this hotel. Close to Asoke SkyTrain and Subway Stations as well as to the Terminal 21 Shopping Center. Our room had a fantastic view and the room itself offered all amenities. The breakfast was very good too. For our next stay in Bangkok will definitively stay at the Rembrandt Hotel again!

“Nice Restaurants and Ideal Location”

Very good hotel in ideal location, close to MRT (subway) and the facilities are great. Restaurants serve excellent food, the top floor Indian is amazing (but a little pricey), the Mexican was great too (catch the unlimited tacos and Margaritas on Tuesday evening!)

My only word of advice would be to avoid the Taxis that hang around outside the hotel. Their trip out to the floating markets sounds too good to be true, and it is, they drop you at a place that wants obscene money for the boat trips around the markets. Book with someone more reputable operators.

“Dine with a great view”

Very nice location, dinner with a view. The staff are friendly and helpful. The selection of food is for every taste. The breakfast buffet is fresh and plentiful and the Indian restaurant, Rang Mahal, on top floor is amazing. Easy access to all shopping areas of Bangkok through nearby access to subway and Skytrain.

“Recommended”

As previously reported this hotel is in central Bangkok therefore is very close to shops, markets, restaurants and the skytrain for exploring further a field. The hotel rooms were equipped with all amenities and the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent throughout. All the food served in the hotel was excellent but what really makes this hotel so good is the staff and the standard of service by all.

“Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok”

At check-in we received our welcome drink, got a room facing the pool view. Room and bathroom was huge. Love the breakfast spread. The hotel rooms were equipped with all amenities and the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent throughout. All the food served in the hotel was excellent but what really makes this hotel so good is the staff and the standard of service by all. Hotel location was great, walking distance to BTS Asok station & Terminal 21. There is hotel shuttle from hotel to the main road at Sukhumvit.
