The hotel occupies a building designated by Kurashiki City as a Traditional Building, once the separate residence of a Meiji-era kimono merchant. Reopened on November 14th, 2024, YORUYA now offers guests a refined blend of exquisite gastronomy and serene accommodations. Until 2014, the property operated as a ryokan, cherished by local residents who fondly recall dining there. YORUYA’s renewed presence seeks to interlace the legacy of Kurashiki’s past, the rich history of the site, and its own evolving journey into a new and beautiful thread.
